Day 54 of my 365 day challenge

Day 54 of my 365 day challenge: I feel so happy about this photo...My husband and I were sitting in our backyard on our bench...and I saw a dragonfly flying around...I told my husband how awesome it would be to get a picture of one...but they always fly around so fast and usually dont land...All the sudden my hunny yelled and said "Heather it landed on one of our Onions" I was so excited and ran inside to get my camera and I was so lucky cuz that dragon fly let me get so close to it and it stayed there for what seemed so long...I was so happy :) Here is my photo for the day!!

 

Day 53 of my 365 day challenge

Day 53 of my 365 day challenge: Today I have been hanging around the house doing some cleaning and decided I would try to get a picture of a bee today...since how I see them all the time in our backyard. I noticed that the bees like to hang out around my upside down Wine bottles that I use for decoration...and thought it was so funny, because the wine bottles collect water in the little dip on the bottoms. of them..well, the bees fly over to it where there is the little puddle of water and drinks out of it..haha, I had to get a picture..I thought it was so awesome! Here is my photo for the day!

Day 52 of my 365 day challenge

Day 52 of my 365 day challenge: Today I thought I would take a picture of my families dinner....lol, It is going to taste amazing and my Husband and I cooked it together..I thought..."well, since I spend so much time making this dinner that I love...I should take a picture of it...so here it is....Doesn't it look delicious?? NUMMY!!

Day 51 of my 365 day challenge: I was up at my parents house doing some pictures for my mom, being that she is almost moved out..and she saw that the iris's had bloomed...I of course went and grabbed my camera and wanted to share it with all of you...Gorgeous...and it was on my parents property...so it reminds me of my dad! Day 48 of my 365 day challenge: Today I was out with my mom and we stopped off at an antique store and found this adorable fire fighter truck...so so cute...and I wanted to buy it, but they were closed...so the next best thing was taking a picture of it, and I love it so much I decided to use it as my photo of the day...Thanks to my mom for pointing it out to me too!

Day 47 of my 365 day challenge: I was driving home today from a photo shoot and was thinking about what I wanted to use for my photo of the day....I really was tired and wanting to get home and decided why not take a pic of me driving home...haha!! I know funny right?? Well...I did...this is me on my way home from a long long day!! My photo for the day! :)

Day 46 of my 365 day challenge: I was walking around Downtown and found this old door, and thought it was so beautiful...I love Black iron gates, doors etc. I thought it would be so beautiful in Black and White and also thought I would make it Vintage looking...Im a sucker for Vintage photos! Day 45 of my 365 day challenge: Today I did a fun shoot with Alyssa and John, what a cute couple and obviously so in love. I wanted to use one of there pictures as my photo of the day and chose this one cuz its so cute! Stay tune for more pics in the next day or so of this cutsie couple! :)

Day 44 of my 365 day project: I have been uber busy and thought today I am going to do a pic of my many Hens and chicks plants..lol! I absolutely love these guys because the are so easy to maintain, and yet so beautiful to look at! Here is my photo for the day!

Day 43 of my 365 day project: Today was crazy and I was almost worried I wasnt going to be able to get my picture in for the day..I had no ideas, no nothing! I pretty much threw this picture together....I have an antique lantern in my backyard and thought "You know what? Im taking a picture of that." LOL, pretty funny!...! Day 42 of my 365 day challenge: Today I went and watched my Mom and Brother play Tennis and while I was there I got to hang out with my Brothers Girlfriend Miss Alyshia and while talking with her I had an idea for my photo of the day...I would take a pic of her hanging out watching her man play Tennis....So here is my ...photo of the day, and thank you guys for letting me use you in my challenge :)

Day 41 of my 365 day challenge: All day today I was trying to figure out what I was going to photograph and nothing really stood out to me. I was going out to check on my man working on our shed and looked over and saw a dandelion....I instantly ran inside to get my camera, Had my daughter take a seat in the grass and ...told her to blow on it...lol!! I was so excited, I knew this was my pic for the day..Couldnt have been more perfect! So here it is! :)

Day 40 of my 365 day challenge: I went out today and got myself a good bottle of red and thought......what a great pic that would be...I love my Red and my wine glasses...put it all together and I got a photo..lol! Day 39 of my 365 day challenge: Today I was out doing a senior/fun shoot and I was near a old bridge/railroad track and thought this was an awesome picture to have for my photo of the day. Day 38 of my 365 day challenge: Tonight I had the privilage of being down at the Mukilteo beach doing an Engagement photo shoot, and while the couple was off doing a change of outfits, there was a couple sitting on a bench looking over the water being all lovey with eachother...I snapped a few pics of them and went ove...r to show them the picture I took, and Promised them that I would use the pic as my photo of the day, they were pretty excited!! I will be posting engagement pictures here very shortly, and they are just as beautiful, but this couple was happy that they were going to be able to see a pic themselves on my website...SO this is for them!! Day 37 of my 365 day challenge

Day 37 of my 365 day challenge: Today I went out for the day with my dear friend Janelle, and we both decided to get some pictures done of eachother...it seems as a photographer that you take pictures of everyone else and then realize you dont have any of yourself...so we decided as both being photographers that we would have a fun day of being in FRONT of the camera, it was a little akward at first, but by the end we were both laughing and having alot of fun, I decided to do a pic of Mrs Janelle, for one she is BEAUTIFUL and for another...I think she deserves to be my photo of the day

Day 36 of my 365 day challenge: Today I did a photo shoot for three little cuties today, I only had time to look over them pretty quickly, but one stood out to me, and I thought it was adorable! It is of the two sisters holding hands...can it be any more precious?? I dont think so. Day 35 of my 365 day challenge: Well its a hot day out today and we have been out enjoying the sun...and I thought it would be fun to take a picture of mine and my daughters toes....Believe it or not, I had to take this picture so many times due to her not wanting to be still...lol, I was going to have grandma's feet in it too, but it was a bit much trying to get all three of our feet positioned the right away and not have my little one move..so now its mommy and daugther toes :) Here is my photo for today!!

Day 34 of my 365 day challenge: I thought this flower was really pretty, and it was weird because it was growing off of an evergreen tree branch, I had never seen it before!! I did a major zoom in on my lens and this is what I captured. Here is my photo for the day!

Day 32 of my 365 day challenge: I am pretty excited that out Bluberries are almost ready to eat out of our garden...I had to take a picture of them today, they look so yummy! Day 31 of my 365 day challenge: So Know its just a slug and I think they are DISGUSTING...but its still a cool picture...lol!!! I did it black and white so the slug doesnt look so slimy and gross hahaha! He was just chilling on the pavement hanging out!!!

Day 30 of my 365 day Project: I picked these flowers to photograph because they were outside the window at my parents house. After my dad passing away, my mom has moved out, and I wanted to have a picture of these flowers to remember there place in the future! I love the color of them...so bright and cheery and the dew still on the buds! Here is my photo for the day!

Day 29 of my 365 day project: I saw this windmill the other day and knew I would have to come back to take a picture of it! I was in the area again today and didnt miss my chance. Its on the side of someones house, so I pulled over to the side of the road and took my picture...I absolutely love Windmills....Always have...!!! I hope to find some more that stand out to me in the near future!! Here is my photo :)

Day 28 of my 365 day project: Our family went for a nice hike today since its so beautiful outside, and I of course brought my camera along....we had hiked about 4 miles and I was searching the whole way to find my picture for the day and didnt find anything that just really popped out at me....I was getting bummed...o...n our way back from the hike almost near the end, my husband spotted a Birds nest and it had 2 eggs in it...I was so excited because I KNEW this would be my photo :) I told my hubby I would give him props for it..lol! Here is my photo for the day!! I wanted to do it in Black and white and the gorgeous eggs in color :)

Day 26 of my 365 day project: Today I was driving home from a Mother and son Photo shoot and driving home I looked out and thought the view was spectacular....I knew this was going to be my photo of the day...the way the clouds looked, the barn below and the Mountains...ONE WORD..BREATHTAKING!!!!! Day 25 of my 365 day project: I wanted to try my camera out in the dark and try some settings that I have wanted to try.....I saw another photographer try this and he was kind enough to tell me what he did and how he did it and wanted to do it myself!! I am going to do more of this in the future in a better setting...b...ut for now just went right down the street in my neighborhood to take this picture. I love trying different things and using my camera settings to make a great unique picture. Here is my photo for the day! :)

Day 24 of my 365 day project: I have the most Gorgeous Lillies growing in my back yard and had to take a picture of them....they were the same ones that I had in my wedding....LOVE EM! Here is my picture for the day!!

Day 23 of my 365 day project: Our town is putting on a small carnival and so I thought it would be fun to do a picture of the rides at night....I also wanted to try out some new tips that I had received from Mr. Jonathon Mast...It worked out lovely and I love how you can see the motion of the ride so clearly! Here is my photo for the day with an hour and a half to spare..lol!!!

Day 22 of my 365 day project

Day 22 of my 365 day project: Well my day is off to a Fabulous start, I got up at 4am this morning to wave goodbye to my Hardworking hubby and looked up to the sky, and it was absolutely Gorgeous....I grabbed my camera and put it on a low iso and this is what I got of the Sky in Granite Falls...Man am I lucky to live h...ere....surrounded by woods and Mountains and today the Beautiful Thursday Morning skies! I had to add the Vignette look to it, it just made the sky pop out even more....Here is my photo for the day :)

 

Day 21 of my 365 day project

Day 21 of my 365 day project: I was starting to freak out that I was not going to be able to post my picture for the day due to my computer crashing, my camera card not uploading, and so on and so on...BUT at the end of my Day somehow I got it all worked out and all fixed and good..THANK goodness.....I was filling in a...t the studio today and had the chance to take a few pics of some cuties Jillian and Ava...I wanted to post there picture for my photo of the day!! WHEW..Im going to chillax now :)

Day 20 of my 365 day project: Today is such a beautiful day, I was driving home from my parents house and have always been intrigued by power lines etc, hearing the buzzing and all...lol......I thought with the sky being so pretty and the clouds so white and fluffy, that it would be a perfect day to take a picture of this! Day 19 of my 365 day project: So it seems like I get alot of my pictures while Im driving down the back roads..lol, Today we were coming back from the grocery store and I saw this Bull just chilling out....and I thought it would be cool to get a pic of him...he just sat there and stared at me while I took his picture, ...it was pretty funny! I decided to make it an old black and white....This is my photo for today!

 

Day 18 of my 365 day project: Today we went out as a family for Fathers day and were driving through an area where my husband use to live. All that is left on this peice of property is an old shed, the house that he lived in burnt down a few years back...it was pretty sad to see a house that he loved burnt to the ground, not to mention he had no where to live! We decided to stop and take a picture of what was left and I thought I would use this as my photo for the day..I think its really pretty anways with all the flowers and the old brick!

Day 17 of my 365 day project: There is something about a walkway out in the woods surrounded by trees and brush....its like the gateway to heaven or something. I just loved how the sun was shining down and how the trees fell over the grassy path! This is my photo for the day!

Day 15 of my 365 day project: I was just taking a walk around town and saw these berries and thought how pretty they were...I almost ate one..lol, I figured instead of eating my picture of the day I would post it here for you all to enjoy! Day 14 of my 365 day project: Today I happened to be in Seattle and found an old Catholic church, I thought the structure of the building was awesome! I wanted to do this picture in a Black and white, but it had such pretty red flowers in the window baskets. I thought I would leave the flowers red! I also loved how the... trees hung down along the sides of the building...Just looked so Vintage! Here is my pic for the day!

Day 13 of my 365 day project: Today I racked my brain trying to figure out what kind of a photo I wanted to take. My husband and I are very into the whole 1920's - 1940's Era! Day 10 of my 365 day project: I was out with my husband today enjoying the morning together and checking out my upcoming location for a wedding, and on our way back I looked down at my wedding ring and thought about how much I love my man and how Beautiful my ring is. Day 8 of my 365 day project: Today was kind of a stressful day, so I decided to take a walk around the lake and take some pictures. It feels so good that I can grab my camera and decompress with capturing beauty. I took a couple shots today and the one that stood out to me was this one of the flower, seeing the fresh rain drops that had fallen and how beautiful it looks! Here is my pic of the day.

Day 7 of my 365 day project: I of course with all the barn pictures had to add a picture of a horse..lol! Luckily this horse was very friendly and came to me right away...Kinda scared me at first cuz I thought he was going to charge me..haha! Here is my pic for the day :)

Day 6 of my 365 day project: Im actually pretty happy that we live out in the country, so many things to attract my eye. I was Driving down one of our roads in town and I had to get a pic of this cool looking barn...Im a sucker for these...They look so awesome! I pulled over to the side of the road and a cranky old man... asked why I was taking pictures of his property..I said " Oh, I just love the look of the barn, hope you dont mind..lol" He was still a bit cranky but didnt say No to me doing it, so here is the photo :)

 

Day 5 of my 365 day project

Day 5 of my 365 day project: So I actually took 2 photos today and had a hard time trying to figure out which one I liked the most...I decided to go with this one just because its really odd and unique. My husband and I were driving down the back roads in our town and happened to see these rocks piled up and I thought ...it was really cool! Like I have said before....Simple Nature can sure be Beautiful when photographed!

Day 4 of my 365 day project: Even with all the rain today, I will still able to capture a photo for today...my husband and I were on our way back from Lowes and I happened to find a really cool barn and knew then that it was the shot I should capture! Something about the Rustic barns that always capture my eye! Im having so much fun doing this photo a day :)
